Karen Hasek, pictured here with Martha Johnson (classroom teacher) on her right and Sue Glodt (Director) on her left, has volunteered in our Pierre Center Head Start classrooms one day each week for the past three years. She comes into the classroom and eats lunch with our children.

Head Start guide lines recommend "family style" eating; we try to have one adult for every 5 or 6 children during lunch time. Karen always has a friendly smile and is dedicated to the Oahe Child Development children.

Her favorite part of volunteering is seeing the children smile when they see her come into their classroom. We appreciate Karen's time and dedication to our program.
